Cafeteria and patient kitchen closed pending remediation

Patients at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center are getting meals through alternative food preparation arrangements after a city inspection found more than 200 live cockroaches and black slime dripping from an ice machine onto ice for human consumption. The Oct. 16 inspection failed the hospital's Rendezvous Café and patient kitchen.
