Democrats flipped governorships in Georgia, Iowa, Ohio, Nevada and Texas on Nov. 3 and won unified control of five state governments, according to tallies from the Associated Press and the research firm MultiState. The party now holds 29 governorships to the Republicans' 19, with Kansas still undecided.
