Proposing annual assessment for FY 2026-27

Dallas property owners in five commercial districts face another year of special assessments, as the city council held public hearings on August 25 to set rates for tourism, arts district, and neighborhood improvement services. The proposed levies range from $20.58 million for the Dallas Tourism district down to $335,127 for Red Bird, with rates topping out at 15 cents per $100 of appraised value.
