Grand Rapids' Flanagan's prepares to reopen under new ownership

Preparing to reopen

Flanagan's Irish Pub closed in 2025 after its liquor license was suspended. In April 2026, a judge ordered the pub seized for loan default, and the Rood Building sold for $3.3 million. New owner Brendan Bianchi has spent about $250,000 renovating the space and plans to reopen it as Flanagan's Social House by the end of November.
