Paid $41,100 to eliminate student meal debt in July 2026

Alexandria public schools staff asked the School Board on Aug. 27 to accept three community gifts: 1,000 backpacks with supplies and $20,000 to erase student meal debt. The gifts, worth $35,000 total, come through Policy KH, the district's formal rules for private donations.
