Kenya's state-owned power producer has a $77 million package to build its first utility-scale batteries. KenGen will install a 100-megawatt storage network at four sites: Olkaria in Naivasha, Kipevu in Mombasa, Embakasi in Nairobi and Muhoroni in Kisumu.
