Artist Space Trust opened applications this month for Celadon House, a three-bedroom duplex in San Francisco's Mission District. The price: $425,000, about one-sixth of its $2.6 million appraised value. It's the first property in the nonprofit's Artist Housing Commons, a network designed to keep housing permanently affordable for Bay Area artists.
