Greece approves Israeli-built 'Achilles Shield' air-defense package

Greece just committed about €4.3 billion to rebuild how it defends its skies. The core is a layered anti-aircraft, anti-ballistic and anti-drone system called 'Achilles Shield,' built mainly with radars and missiles from two Israeli companies, Rafael and Israel Aerospace Industries.

Germany just decided it doesn't want a "nice-to-have" missile shield. It wants a real one. On December 17, the Bundestag approved a major expansion of Germany's Arrow 3 procurement from Israel—roughly $3.1 billion more.
