Las Vegas to hear bar's request for waiver to operate near church

A bar planned for downtown Las Vegas needs the city to waive a rule that keeps alcohol sales a certain distance from churches. The bar, Jury Room Bar, LLC, wants to open at 321 South Casino Center Boulevard, next to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. The Las Vegas Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the request on November 10.
