Approves final exemption certificate

Michigan's Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act, which holds property taxes flat on renovated commercial buildings for 10 to 12 years, is ending in 2026. Grand Rapids city commissioners hold a public hearing Tuesday on one of the final applicants: North Quarter Development LLC, at 2130 Plainfield Ave NE.
