Shorty's Deluxe receives Virginia ABC license, clearing final hurdle for opening

Shorty's Deluxe, the sandwich shop from chef Nathan Anda and Neighborhood Restaurant Group, received its Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) license on August 12. The license clears the restaurant to serve beer and wine at 2016 Mount Vernon Ave in Del Ray, a residential Alexandria neighborhood.
