eBay has banned the sale of airbags, airbag inflators, and steering wheel airbag covers on its platform — a policy that took effect September 24, 2026. The move follows a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation into counterfeit replacement inflators linked to over a dozen deaths and severe injuries.
