As of September 2026: Named as the permit applicant
Baba Shawarma moved a step closer to opening at 100 Blackstone Street after Boston issued two key approvals in under a month: a food establishment license filed May 21 and a certificate of occupancy issued June 17. The certificate allows a pizza restaurant use with a 36A zoning designation and includes basement storage and prep space, valued at $10,000 in declared construction work.
