A Detroit events company wants to gate a public alley and make it private. Crystal Marie Events LLC filed a petition to vacate a 20-foot alley in the McDougall-Hunt neighborhood so it can control vehicle access for The Leland Green, its outdoor recreation space. The company says the gate would stop illegal dumping.
