Issued ruling granting Comey judgment on the pleadings

A federal judge ruled Monday that the Trump administration illegally fired Maurene Comey, a career prosecutor in the Southern District of New York and daughter of former FBI Director James Comey. Judge Jesse Furman ordered retroactive reinstatement and back pay from her July 16, 2025 termination through December 20, 2025, when she accepted another job.
