Told UPI on October 22 that more than 110,000 letters had been sent about the rule and that the 90-day delay offered little comfort

CBP has pushed the formal customs entry requirement for prescription drugs and other regulated mail to January 20, 2027, 90 days after the original October 22 deadline. The underlying suspension of the $800 de minimis exemption for postal arrivals remains in place.
