Las Vegas airport gets federal funds to rebuild firefighting facility

Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas is getting $21.6 million in federal money to tear down and rebuild its aircraft rescue and firefighting building. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) obligated the grant on Aug. 19, 2026, through its Airport Improvement Program.
