Sold Hotel Z to Columbia Properties on July 2, 2026

On August 20, California's Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control issued a type 47 license to Hotel Z at 521 Sixth Avenue, allowing the hotel to serve alcohol with food. The approval is the latest step for the 96-room boutique hotel, which opened July 6 after a conversion from a former 221-unit apartment building.
