Paul Perrault's half-century banking career ended Monday with his retirement as CEO of Beacon Financial, the Boston bank formed last year when Brookline Bancorp merged with Berkshire Hills Bancorp. His successor is Sean Gray, a two-decade Berkshire veteran who had been the combined bank's chief operating officer.
