The Commodore, a D.C. dive bar known for its 'five-star' label, is one step closer to opening in Old Town Alexandria. On September 3, the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control issued a restaurant license for the space at 220 N. Lee St., clearing the way for the bar to serve alcohol.
