Leading the Shelford data center project after planning approval
Canterbury City Council approved Era4's plan to build a data center for AI workloads beside Shelford Landfill in Kent, voting four in favor with three abstentions and one against on October 15. The 13,000-square-foot facility will pull most of its electricity from methane captured at the adjacent landfill, delivered through a private wire from the Valencia Energy Centre.
