Supplying the account connections behind Claude's finance feature
Anthropic opened Personal Finance in Claude to paid US subscribers on November 5, 2026. Users link bank, card, loan and investment accounts through Plaid, then ask Claude where their money went, which bills are due, or what an annual percentage rate has cost them. Claude can read balances and up to 24 months of transactions. It cannot move, manage or invest money.
