Hollywood's Supper Club Era (1921–1960s)
Hollywood's golden age ran on supper clubs. The Cocoanut Grove opened in 1921 beneath the Ambassador Hotel's palms, and the Mocambo followed on Sunset Boulevard in 1941. Stars dined, drank, and watched live acts into the small hours.
These rooms became the social engine of the movie colony.
The format faded by the late 1960s, but it returns in cycles whenever LA nightlife wants glamour.
Koza markets itself as that kind of room, combining dinner, cocktails, and live aerial entertainment under one roof in Hollywood.
