Holding policy rate at 1.00%
Thailand's central bank held its policy rate at 1.00% on October 28, a fourth straight hold, betting cheap money will support a recovery that remains uneven. The vote was unanimous. The bank raised its 2026 growth forecast to 2.4%, up from 2.3% in June, fueled by a boom in technology and AI-linked exports.
