Respondent defending its stun gun ban; response to cert petition due Nov. 23

The Supreme Court asked New York City on Sept. 8 to defend its stun gun ban. The order gave the city an initial Oct. 8 deadline to answer the petition in Calce v. New York, which challenges the city's prohibition on electronic weapons such as tasers and stun guns.
