Holds the Fort Hood utility contract and two microgrid awards
Fort Hood's critical facilities are designed to run for two weeks without the Texas grid. On Oct. 30, the Army Corps of Engineers awarded Dominion Privatization Texas a $61.5 million contract to build the Phantom Warrior Microgrid, which combines natural gas generators, solar panels and batteries.
