Rapport Therapeutics' epilepsy pill beat placebo in a mid-stage bipolar mania trial, results announced Oct. 20. Patients on RAP-219 improved 15.4 points on a 60-point mania scale over three weeks, versus 12.3 for placebo. The 3.1-point gap was statistically significant — but barely.
