Oklahoma City's Western Avenue corridor is one of the city's oldest commercial districts, home to more than 50 shops, restaurants, and bars. On Tuesday, its property owners get a scheduled chance to speak against the special assessment they will be billed for the next year. The city council posted the item on its Oct. 27 agenda as a public hearing followed by a resolution adopting the 2026-2027 assessment roll.
