Ghana launches GH¢598m project to electrify 206 Volta Region communities

The Volta Region has long run on Ghana's weakest power: low voltage, frequent outages, and 206 communities with no grid connection at all. On August 29, the government launched a GH¢598 million project to connect all of them within six months.
