Nursing students in Pilsen now train on mannequins that mimic strokes, childbirth, and postpartum complications before they touch a real patient. Instituto del Progreso Latino opened the high-fidelity simulation lab at Instituto College in October 2026 with a $3 million donation from the McCormick Foundation.
