Directing force buildup on northern front; says campaign will not be short
Israel has not sent a full ground force into Lebanon since 2006. That is about to change. Israeli officials disclosed plans on March 14 to seize the entire area south of the Litani River—roughly 850 square kilometers of southern Lebanon—using three armored and infantry divisions already positioned on the border.
