The company, led by 22-year-old founder Ethan Thornton, builds drones, counter-drone interceptors, and long-range strike systems. Its bet is vertical integration: own the solid rocket motors, jet engines, and airframes, then out-produce the legacy primes. Mach bought rocket motor maker Exquadrum in May for $50 million and says 3D-printing firm Divergent Technologies helped it build a new drone in 71 days.
